The Lost Communities of
Merthyr Tydfil:
Cyfarthfa
Castle Museum and Art Gallery are holding an exhibition ‘The Lost
Communities of Merthyr Tydfil’. The exhibition tells the
stories of 5 Merthyr Tydfil communities that have all but
disappeared from the map: the Triangle, Pantywaun, China,
Caepantywyll and Pontygwaith.
Central to this
exhibition are the stories and memories of the people who lived
in these communities. The exhibition is open at Cyfarthfa Castle Museum
from the 23rd June – 30th August 2010. email
