The Dynevor Arms

Right at the top where Baverstocks is now, the Dynevor Arms. The Landlord in the sixties was Gil Sallis, he originally worked for Christiani Shand who built the Heads of the Valley

road. He moved on to the Maltsers Arms in Pontypridd.

These houses were demolished when the Gellideg Estate had just been built.

They  were situated just above Gellideg Chapel. If you examine the previous photograph you will see the contractors (Dickinson) sign just by the entrance road to the estate, the houses were behind the sign.
