The Brecon &Merthyr train is travelling from Pontsticill towards Merthyr and is about to join the L.N.W.R (later L.M.S) line at the 'miler' tunnel which is the route to Dowlais, Rhymney Bridge and eventually Abergavenny. It will then travel over the 7 arch viaduct at Pontsarn , the 15 arch one at Cefn Coed through Heolgerrig and finally round Rhydycar before reaching Merthyr Station. |
